Question: Can heart patients go on roller coasters?
or people with high blood pressure? are there any risks?
Just to be on the safe side ......
( NO)
Not really as the stress could kill them
it depends on the person and their history. there are heart warnings on some roller coasters. it doesnt just pertain to roller coasters, they should heed their doctors advice re: heart problems.
yes there are risks, on all intense rides they specifically tell you to get off if you have a heart condition...
the ride will have a pre cautionary notice , at the entrance..
it wouldn't be advisable to go on ..
I used to do it all the time and I was born with a severe heart defect with continuing symptoms. My cardiologist has always advised me to do what I felt I could do, but I never specifically asked him about roller coasters. I just did it anyway. As a heart patient you have to be comfortable with a higher than normal risk vs. quality of life ratio. Otherwise you crawl into a hole and wither away. Not me. Life is to be lived.
NO!!there will be a sign up at the start of the rollercoaster to tell you this.Lol
