Question: Why there is high Malaria death rate in Africa?
why there is high Malaria death rate in Africa?
um, because of all the insects? and lack of meds?
Lots of mosquitoes, and most people can't afford anti-malaria drugs.
More mosquitoes, poor medication and general health
Africa is a continent without many medical facilities except may be few places. But most of the areas are still populated by tribes. So their lesser knowledge about this makes them more susceptible to Malaria. And also the humid climate is perfect for the breeding of those mosquitoes.
the whole continent of africa is messed up anyway. no proper governments, too many diseases, poverty, etc.. all crap
Because the climate suits malarial mosquitos.
Because people are so poor they cannot afford or reach clinics.
Because they spend most of their lives out doors and live in houses with no screens etc to keep the mozzies out.
Because they have loads of kids.
Because they are not protected a night by mozzie nets. Because DDT is banned (controversial one there)
Because their governments don't care.
Because they are poor, ultimately it all comes down to cash, as does everything.
because the government can't afford the chemicals to get rid of the disease causing mosquitoes.
There is more plasmodium falciparum, which causes severe and complicated malaria. Also, it is resistant to most of the common antimalarial drugs.
