Question: Right ear blocked accutane!?
During my 4th month, all of a sudden my right ear became blocked. its been a day now. could this be from accutane? can it become permanent? i'm kind of worried and confused. should i stop the medication?
Try to stay calm before you do anything erratic and go off the medication for no reason. You need to see the doctor that prescribed the medication for you. You also need to tell him of this symptom that you are experiencing. I don't believe the medication is causing your ear to become plugged. However, you never know. I can tell you this, when I was on Accutane, my ears never became plugged.
Did you go swimming recently?
Did you take a shower and tilt your head more than usual? (When I do this, my ears have a funny feeling and I realize water has gone into my ear).
