Question: Why does the same flu bug affect people differently?
Why does the same flu bug affect different members of the same family for shorter or longer durations? How do I make myself the shorter of them? lol
My daughter and my mil have been sick for about 4 days now. While my other daughter and son were sick and better in about 24 hours....What gives?
The virus mutates every time it is transferred and each persons immune system deals with the virus differently.
genetics, both that of the virus and that of the sufferer. Even in the same family, variables exist, i.e physical condition, diet, etc. but even these are variable as to the impact on the body and its ability to defend itself against the virus.
