Question: My throat was burning..?

Im curious the other night I went to sleep and within an hour or so I woke up and my throat was really really burning like an acidic feeling, and i instantly felt a throwing up sensation... I rused to the bathroom nervous becuase I thougth I was going to throw up but nothing was happening it was a really weird feeling like my throat was clogged or something eventually I did throw up and then I layed down and watched tv and this kept on occuring throughout the night i didnt sleep and kept on throwing up. I didn't feel sick at all, just these odd sensations... what could this have been,? my family thought maybe food poisoning... I'm not sure?? any idea? im just curious now thats all

This sounds like heart burn. It is a good idea to make an appointment with your Dr.

You had a serious case of acid reflux. It is where you lay down and the acid in your stomach comes back up. If you had food poisoning you would have had diarrhea also. Did you eat anything spicy or greasy before bed. Sometimes to much sugar can do it also.

It could be heartburn or you could have acid reflux and you should see a doctor.
